Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a modern, safe (without ionizing radiation) and reliable method of diagnosis.

MRI is unique and has virtually no analogues in studies of diseases of the central nervous system, spine, muscles, joints, gynecology, endocrine system. This method makes it possible to obtain images of sections (up to 0.5 mm thick) of soft tissues and organs in different planes. Thus, such serious diseases as various tumors, hernias, anomalies of development, inflammatory processes in the tissues and organs are diagnosed easily and error-free.

MRI can detect initial changes in various diseases, and timely diagnosis allows you to start treatment in time.

The image of the sections is built by a computer based on the resonance that occurs in the protons of hydrogen in a strong magnetic field. And since our body is 80% composed of water (fluid), our internal organs, blood vessels, brain, muscle tissue - all contain water, which is composed of oxygen and hydrogen, and is contained in different organs in different amounts, then and we get a picture from each such body. And even if there is a problem somewhere - a pathological focus - we can detect it, determine the size, volume, exact location, structure.

The informative nature of the study depends primarily on the characteristics of the magnetic field and the quality of the equipment. The main parameter is the magnetic field strength, which is measured in Tesla (T), the higher the voltage, the better the quality of the diagnostic image, the greater the diagnostic capabilities of the entire examination, the more accurate the diagnosis.

Depending on the characteristics of the magnetic field, tomographs are divided into: Low-field - 0.1 - 0.5 T and high-field - from 1.0 to 3.0 T. Today, high-field systems are the international standard of optimal price / quality ratio: the better the quality of the diagnostic image, the more accurate the diagnosis.
